Back when we launched in 2009 Federico Ferrari was the first analogue photographer we showcased. Check out the old post here.

We went to see what he was up to and stumbled across a great series of Cecilia shot both in Madrid and Udine.
The square shots are with his trusted Hasselblad 501cm and the one rectangular was taken with his Contax T2.

When a great photographer finds a muse, then the results are bound to look stunning!

Federico Ferrari – An Italian Analogue Stallion!

02.06.2009 (12:39 pm) – Filed under: Film Photographers ::

I met Federico when he submitted pictures to a book I was photo editing. We were already flickr buddies but at the time I didn’t realize that.
As the months flew by his work changed from Lomography snap-shots to well thought out frames shot with his Hasselblad 501cm. The simplicity of his shots with solid tones and fantastic framing is what makes him stand out as an Analogue Master. And the perfect guy to start this blog with!
Top 3 cameras: Hasselblad 501cm, Lomo lc-a and Contax T2

Top 3 films: Kodak Portra 400vc, Agfa RSXII and Fuji Pro 160C

Your Aim: Becoming a professional one day without loosing the pleasure and freedom
of shooting of the amateur.

Plans: None just some photographic projects to be started soon, and probably the idea of leaving Italy, but I’m saying that thing for too much time and I’m here still.
